Commitment

We’re working hard to create a positive impact for our people, our customers, our local communities and our planet by operating ethically, equitably and sustainably.

Safety is a Top Priority

Our number one priority is maintaining a safe work environment. It is a foundational component of our culture, rooted in proven health and safety principles and programs. While productivity and efficiency are critical, they will never take precedence over safety. We work hard to ensure all our people, customers, and stakeholders return home healthy each and every day.

Responsible Stewardship

We understand that operating in beautiful British Columbia comes with responsibility. It is imperative that we operate sustainably and leave a legacy that we can be proud of for future generations.

Using our pragmatic approach, we engage our stakeholders, including our people, customers, partners, suppliers, government and regulators as well as Indigenous communities, to determine the sustainability issues most relevant to our businesses and the communities where we operate. This includes meeting or exceeding all environmental requirements, laws and regulations affecting our facilities, operations and our people. It also means developing and implementing responsible air, water, soil and waste management controls everywhere we operate.

Should you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding our activities, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Strengthening Our Local Communities

We take seriously the responsibility of strengthening the communities where we operate by giving back and getting involved. Through financial contributions and volunteerism, our team supports many local initiatives and community organizations, with specific focus on education, youth and the environment. We are also committed to engaging and consulting with our partners, government and First Nations to build long-term, successful relationships. We work hard to support our communities to sustain and grow Canada’s trade economy for the benefit of all Canadians.

“We’re commited to being good neighbours and supporting local, making our communities a better and safer place to live and work.”
